The End of time
Linear is what time is.
With some random moments seemingly repeating,
All leading up to the final day.
The day in which we shall all parish.
It's frightening isn't it?
How our world will come to an end,
An end we will never know until it occurs,
For we never realize that we can go any time...
I, I haven't lived yet,
The end of time reaches closer and closer,
While I could ask the girl for her number,
I don't.
'Carpe diem' I keep thinking, before the end arrives.
I just smile, and look on,
They say one shouldn't dwell on the past. But with time and the end looming near.
We should look at the past
Look at the mistakes
Look at the joyful moments
Look at the sadness
Look at the hatred
Look at the emotions condensed into one being,
US!
For us, the human race should look at our past,
Think of the lives we've touched
The ones lost
The dead who have expired too soon,
The dead who have lived wonderful lives
The sick
The smart
The handicapped
The heroes
The soldiers,
And the families,
The many families that our glorious modern age allows.
The end of time will catch up to us, so live in the now,
Dwell on the past to make the future brighter,
Scratch that; change the bulb on the future,
Then hit the light switch...watch the sky light up with your switch.
Say hi to the girl,
Ask her out,
Do the right thing,
Forgive Never forget; accept
Make-'em laugh
And always Carpe Diem
Stand on your chair and scream out to your belief,
Oh captain my captain!
Let the world here your voice, no...
Our voice.
The end of time shall drain our life,
but with the end of our time, new life begins.
Our time is here to undo the wrongs
Before the end of time,
The end of time
The end
The end,
The end,
The end....
The.....
The end of society,
The end of humanity
The end of me
The end of us
Time
Time is around us
Time is the reaper waiting to touch us and claim us as their own,
One day, hopefully not today.
I still need to live
You still need to enjoy yourself
So let's wear down time till it tells us to go
I'll see you next time.
