The End of You

She speaks in whisps

In large thunderstorms that strike you down

How devious, dubious, desperate.

The stink of shame and self-loathing haunt the halls of your life.

"I love you," you say as I shudder with disgust.

I reply, "I loathe you."

Your delusions of love and admiration grow in synchronicity with my hate for you.
