An Ending
An Ending
Life drags along, and on and on, a painful river flows.
To leave one stranded, no recourse, monotony does grow.
Without what, could I not leave, upon an idol shelf?
If I find existence boring while I sit all by myself.
Well after I did consider, what most important, makes a living.
I have decided, that what one really needs, is knowledge of an ending.
No matter what happens, good or bad, an ending shall sustain;
The hope of change, a chance to reflect, a stopping of all pain.
So perhaps, it seems morbid, but what I cannot live without
Is the knowledge, that everything will one day be over, no matter the account.
