Ending at the Beginning

She was a good girl,

but she always ended up alone.

Then people started to ask, “Where is she?”

when she was gone.

Her depression was too real,

and her pain had nowhere to roam.

So she took the life that polluted her soul;

It was time for her to go home.

Home where there were streets of gold,

Home were there was peace,

Home where her Father’s opened arms waited,

and home where her pain would cease.

Yes, her family will cry for her

all through the night,

but they’ll see a shining star outshining all the others,

and they’ll know that she is alright.

They’ll know she’s exactly where she needs to be,

which is where her happiness is never ending.

She’ll never end up alone again

because her Father promised her His presence from the very beginning.
