Endless Monotony

I am only a child Consumed with my own consumption Want, need, give me, let me I am bored, I am bound by the ropes of society Chained to my peers, the very same Endless Monotony. I am only a child Overwhelmed with abandonment Lose, forget, discard me, leave me I am a disgrace, I am a once white sheet Blackened with imperfections only I can see Endless Monotony. I am only a child Threatened for my feelings Beat, taunt, abuse me, patronize me I am a victim of all, I am a punching bag for the world Bruised with the stings of the past And of tomorrow Endless Monotony. I am only a child Starved for attention Show off, please, parade me, use me I am a toy, I am whatever anyone wants me to be Empty in spite of the dull sparkles of my shell Endless Monotony We are only children Confused, but not ignorant Learn, create, see us, hear us We are the world, we are unique Never ruined, regardless of Life's attempts. End this monotony.
