Endless Nightmare
Is it just a dream,
Baby you and me,
We could be the perfect team,
Baby why can't you see.
That my heart longs for something pure,
But I can't find the cure.
For the pain you caused,
By ripping off the gauze.
That held my heart together,
We could have been forever.
Instead your with him,
And I am torn limb from limb.
All I wanted was that romance movie moment,
But you took my heart and sold it.
This dream I had of our love to share,
Is now just an endless nightmare.
It isn't the monster under the bed you fear,
Or the alien behind the closet door my dear.
It's the sick relentless torment,
Of the thoughts that once lied dormant.
The images burn so clear,
It is falling a sleep I fear.
Cause when my eyes close I cant prepare,
For my endless nightmare.
