Endless Play

It was a day of endless play
Infinite hour
 Spent in the garden’s ray
cluster of yellow, green
musing in the day
swaying
In the esophagi of frogs, insects and lush plants
allowing me to dance
coated dampness
From the sky’s light crystal rain.
      Robins sing
hummingbirds flitter
enough to wake
my soul
with love
in those silent hours
in the garden
of delight
my heart awakens
