Endless roads

I’ve been lost down roads , I no        Longer admire I Was living  a life that was set to       expire Had to change my-ways hang it up       & retire.      took control and said Do you want to love ?        I had to ask, is it love you want more of in your life? Then why do you reject it day into night? Do you want what you thought was excitement ? Everything i thought I was but I guess you realized it wasn’t me you wanted it from Every attempt, every try You masked the pain but even your tears try to flea this pain you hold inside every breaking moment every tear I cried every tear I fought back & denied. even I was not what once caughtyour eye the spark the that  Flame some how got snuffed out and buried inside along with all the victims you buried alive cause before any words I could speak you barricaded with excuses.. believe me I tried. to give u what you needed even when you said I can’t fix u I can’t and again me u denied all this time I gave u my life proved my worth time after time but u never appreciated it and only recognized how u claimed I did u wrong when everything I did and still do is to treat u right.  Still I tried to bring excitement to your life and before the words fell from my dry cracked numb neglected lips I will give you the best of all worlds if you leave at least give me more than just a second to explain. Theres a veil over your eyes theres something devine tonight that wants to light your skies and be your guide but ya need to clear this clutter you hold onto and hide behind. -Joe Lilley
