Because I love you

I want to understand.

I want to talk.

I want to be there for you at your highest highs

and your lowest lows.

Because I love you

I want to hear you out.

I want to know.

I want to figure out our problems

so that the rest are eliminated.

Because I love you

I want to hug you.

I want to kiss you.

I want to hold you in my arms

so that I'll never lose you and nothing can take you away.

Because I love you

I want to laugh with you.

I want to cry with you.

I want to discover things that I didn't know about you

and that I didn't even know about myself.

Because I love you

It seems so simple.

But it's much more complicated.

Because I love you

It seems so easy.

But it'll always be hard.

Because I love you

There are feelings and sensations that are indescribable and uncontrollable

and no one can take that away.

Because you love me

You want the same.

You think the same.

You know the same.

Because you love me…

Because I love you…

it lasts forever, endlessly and unconditionally.
