Enemy

Let me tell you

Your worst enemy is who

But first I’ll tell you what it’s all about

It never fails to take you through a dark route

It makes you believe less in yourself

Oh it is a little devil of an elf

It creeps deep into your soul

And it becomes way beyond your control

You see all the things you cannot do

But what about all the things you can outdo

It tries to bring you down

But don’t let it beat you around

Make no mistake

It may be a great rattlesnake

Slithering its way throughout

But you are stronger

You will conquer

And find your way

Back to yourself someday

So let me tell you

Your worst enemy is who

It is none other than yours truly, you
