The enemy is seen every
The enemy is seen every morning and every night it follows us
We avoid it as if its a obnoxious man on the bus
It is unavoidable we need to check that we are in tact
And in doing so it causes a painful act
It sometimes even blinds a human in the eye
Making it even more powerful for us to deny
It hangs in closets and doors
You may sometimes even see it on top of the shores
Its a reflection that causes intense emotion
We hate the way our body or face and wish we had a potion
One to make us happy and content
Even if we do a change of direction
our reflection is always the everyday enemy that will augment
