Engulfing Darkness

As the world becomes dark and slowly fades away I am stuck here alone another day The earth rumbles and crumbles under my feet waiting just waiting for me to be beat It swallows lives, living and dead so one must be wary of where they tread I'm stuck in the middle of the most dangerous place alone and hoping someone will see my tear-stained face But that won't happen, no it won't be because there is a smiling mask for people to see It's only a matter of time until the dark engulfs me unless someone can rescue and set me free
