Enigmatic

Your eyes are dark-

close to black

They reveal so much-

when you don't hold back

Your touch softens-

your hands rough

I know you won't hurt me-

you won't be too tough

We laugh, but you're away-

somewhere lost in your mind

I want to know your past-

what you want to leave behind
