An Enigmatic Art
When you realize that with poetry,
you can write anything
and the lines disappear from your notebook
to create a canvas
where your pencil paints pictures
and your pen creates emotion
Poetry crafts the raw emotions of nature
creates a sculpture of rage, fear, joy
You can bare your soul
create tender, shimmering moments
or lash out with jagged words
Poetry absorbs it all
It becomes a swirling mobile
seen differently by everyone who watches
delicate nuances, suspended, never repeating
and is yet sturdy enough to contain all of the human experience.
