Enlightened Beatitude
Enlightened Beatitude
The earth is lovely and so vast,
It takes care of us, till we last,
But we care not earth,
And adore fire or clouds,
We don’t see straight,
but peeps into shrouds,
our thoughts oft overpowered by suspicions,
paint the world around us so dark,
we see dark ditches,
and not lovely park,
we seldom taste sweet pulp,
very often devour bark,
What a beautiful sight,
The beam of light,
that descends from heaven,
we get oft bewildered,
and completely shaken,
a holy thought,
make us awaken,
we see unseen beauty,
we are enlightened,
and not frightened,
a change in attitude,
make us to relish beatitude,
we bow down,
in gratitude.
