Enlightenment
You only write once.
You only live once.
CARPE DIEM!
So many ways to say…
There’s no turning back.
At times we need to wander through life on an unknown path…
Wandering,
Waiting,
Hoping,
That the end…
Does not arrive…
TOO soon.
Too soon it will arrive if we don’t make it worthwhile.
Worth our time.
Worth everyone’s time.
That becomes the grand question of life: is it worth it?
Are we all worth it?
Do we have a purpose?
All of a sudden your identity and value are in question…
And you have no answer.
And you listen to others to define yourself.
And Then…
You put on a mask.
And you mask your scent.
Your identity.
YOUR TRUTH.
NOW,
You are all but a hidden gem…
A diamond in the rough.
If only you would come out and…
SHOW YOUR SELF!
REVEAL YOUR SELF!
ABANDON…
The hopelessness from Tartarus.
WIELD…
Your talents with the courage of Hercules.
ERASE…
Your doubts and worries of Fate’s unknown destiny.
SUMMON…
Your determination for change.
OVERCOME…
The obstacles in front of you like the heroes of antiquity.
MASQUERADE…
No longer shall you perform such an action!
ELIMINATE…
Your enemies’ criticism from your mind!
NARRATE…
Your own story, not others given to you!
ESCAPE…
The preconceived ideas of what will or should be!
SHOWER…
The world in your riches--more marvelous than Midas!
SING…
Your siren song!
You are a person
Who can make a difference.
No matter how small.
