Enough

She was radiance,

shoulder blades and beaches and black headphones,

carsick Saturdays and card games I could never win,

just like her heart,

but I think I'm okay with that.

At least I played the game,

and that is enough.

Sometimes our calves would brush

as we sat watching movies,

and that is enough.

Even if I will never see her again, I got to know her

and watch her be happy,

and that is enough for me

So yes,

I was awkward and she was graceful,

I was nothing and she was everything

but I am okay.

I got to be a witness to it all

and that is enough.
