"enough."

When you are stuck in place,

frozen

in time and space,

playing words on an endless loop

like a broken

record

with a broken heart, too,

I wish differences would be put aside.

Hate upon differences,

deadly disgusting messes,

a storm that is

neverending,

with death forever

tainting

the safest places we meet…

Danger lurks behind our backs

as they patiently wait to complete the act,

and they cause their pain,

sprung from their hate.

Yet nothing’s changed,

and all we do is pray…

But when will enough,

simply be enough?
