Enough

Am I not enough?

Even for myself . . . ?

This heavy burden stacks upon me

This thought never leaving, always nearby

This is so rough

Should I just ask for “help”?

Just who exactly should “I” be?

Can I ask why?

Or can I yell out, enough!

As I’m just becoming just a shell

I just want to be free

So I’m no longer “shy”

And I call a bluff

As my life becomes hell

And then I feel this breeze

And I say enough.
