enough

all the hate and what we destruct

will one day cause us to combust

why? why must it be like this

always thinking about the negative

never wanting bliss

we look at one another with disgust

acting like we can never trust

we get caught up in society

always telling us what we have got to be

will we ever just look in the mirror and say

"being me is enough"?

we think the best has already come its way

and now we are trapped in it's lay

never thinking, i could be the change

always wanting for someone else to blame

so the worst has come to this

lets sit back and talk politics

tv, magazine,

glorifying images of the same old things

i look around but now im lost

"is being me good enough"?
