Enough

Once I took a cold shower while it was only 17 degrees outside.

I thought maybe I didn't breathe fresh air enough.

Once I sat naked on the bedroom floor while I shivered from a cold shower.

I thought maybe I didn't feel enough.

Once I held a razor to my leg while I sat naked on the bedroom floor.

I thought maybe I didn't love myself enough.

Once I felt my scares from when I used to cut.

I thought enough is never quite enough.

But this time I went outside and

took a breath of fresh air and

I realized then,

I finally had enough.
