Enough
Let me
Let me love you
Let me love you, so intensly
That my heart will be made to brake
My world will be shaken by your presence
Shatter
Splinter
And carried off by the wind
Fragments
What should, could, ... had been
I
I will crumble
I will crumble under the weight of this feeling
So intense
So comple and encompassing
Let me
Let me hold you
Right here
Right now
My fingertips running across cotton and your warm skin
And let me bind you with this red string
This ribbon of fate
Dyed burgundy wine with my bleeding tears
Let me stand here next to you
And
Let me wonder what will come next
Swim in the perplexity of all of our possibilities
Marvel at all our maybe's
Let me
Let me drown in utter rapture
Our flames burn me whole
Ignited
Melted
And reduced to ash
Leave my soul unquenchable
Let me
Let me look up
Gaze into the stars and the cosmos
And
Let me make this wish, as it all falls away
Losing myself in your eye's
Let me see myself reflected there
Always
And this world
As it crumbles and it falls
Succumbing to destruction and decay
To again become a grain of sand in the hourglass
Let the pounding of our hearts in our ears
Be louder then the bombs going off around us
And
As the end rushes near
Let my hand stay clasped in yours
This pain
This fear
Agony, anguish, torment, and grief
They are fleeting
Giving way to numb Calmness
And
As the shock sets in
Let my breath calm and slow
Till it matches yours, and we breath as one
As it all draws near to stopping
I will hold these words inside my chest
Like a breath drawn in, and held
Only once i'm dazed and breathless
The movements to form the words almost forgotten
Only then
Only then will i lean that much closer into your embrace
Patiently waiting as our hearts slow to braking
Wretched, beating watches
We're running out of time
As I come closer
Pressing chilled lips to a soft ear
I grant you these words
One last reward
Dispite the coming end
As all the lights go out
All our stars have disappeard
And the darkness swallows us whole
These feelings
These memories
This life
Our love
You
It... it was enough
It was enough
