Enough
You come barging in, proclaiming yourself king of my domain.
Throwing away the notion that this land is in my name.
You plant your flag and leave it be, then look down on me with disdain.
I speak, but you silence me.
You push, I push.
Your belly is hungry, like you haven’t eaten in years.
But it claims the title of ‘bottomless pit’ and makes black holes shed tears.
I run with nowhere to go, and you laugh as if I’m putting on a show.
You push, I push.
I regret admitting defeat, but this is where credit is due.
You’ve driven me to my edge, waiting to be thrown away like an old tool.
Your body stands triumphant; your eyes have no room for despair. Now sit there and watch me jump in to the air.
You push.
