Enough
Once upon a time, I pulled myself out of hell
Left to women who saw me as less than
I was broken and abused; forced into labor
I waited for my prince to save me from the pit
To make my dreams a reality
But I threw out the script;
Stood up for myself because I didn’t need magic or a man
I was enough to save myself
