Enough is Enough
taunting me like a child being childish.
Screaming words I have not yet accomplished.
You constantly sing a song about me and my sins;
Always fighting me like the trees and the wind.
Haunting me in my dreams about the absurd sights I have seen.
Like the monster under my bed repeatedly playing with my head.
So scared of the ugly truth about the relationship among me and you,
Mad that I am so confused because I just realized that the grass was never blue.
Tears filling my eyes, making my body warm inside.
The agonizing pain I receive when looking into your eyes.
But yet again you just looked and did not respond,
Making me feel like I am a dog who has was abandoned.
Singing lullabies to me to fill the pain inside.
Waiting for all this to end as I close my eyes,
I try to push until my pain resins.
Impatient for it all to stop; cannot help but to give it all to God.
Singing to myself to keep from crying,
Going to the one person I know I can rely on.
Still denying the fact that this is all true;
I am still stuck with the thought of not knowing what to do.
You obviously think you know all about me,
So why must you purse to doubt me.
Aware of the broken button, but instead you resume to disturb it.
But you were ignorant to the fact that it was time for me to detach;
It’s time for me to leave before I have a relapse.
You might be astonished by me at first;
However, I am sorry but it is finally my turn.
So let us sit our differences aside one last time,
And let bygones be bygones as we flip to the next chapter.
As we say our goodbyes let us never forget
That this was the last time I will ever let you in.
No fusing and no fighting, not in this life.
I am sorry but it’s my time to shine.
