Enough With the Work Already

My bag is a boulder

Ready to break my back.

What's a social life you ask?

I have long since forgotten now that teachers dictate mine.

"School is more important." is what they drill into your mind.

But when do you get your time?

When do the papers end?

When does the work become simple again?

I've forgotten how to sleep.

Too many papers to be done.

College is the goal and teachers lead the way.

Their grades are what decide if you go or if you stay.

But does sleep ever come?

Will this work ever end?

Will I ever be allowed a social life again?
