Enslavement
The mind is a terrible thing to waste
Says the man whose in charge, power is at stake
Education could be a way to keep you enslaved, mental inflammation
The conversation around creativity is stifling and innovation ain't encouraged because
It won't keep you slave to the masters, think for yourself and do what makes you happy
Capitalism makes us the new slaves, Jim Crow was man who danced inside the sun
But the head overseers made sure that he would never see the truth
So a white man paved the way, painted his face over in black
It was a way to capitalize on some shit that they didn't understand
Native culture was placed into box of negativity, banning all cultural roots
While the whites claimed it for themselves, now they want war, but they haven't read yet.
Simply bleeding for years until they sped and again and again.
