enthusiastic
When I close my eyes,
I see a man older than me
He is fearless,
he can defeat my insecurities
He is brave,
he can keep me safe.
He can put things together,
Even after they crumple,
He sees the world from
a lighter perspective.
And the man I see is
Myself in ten years,
That’s why I am enthusiastic
To meet me in ten years.
