Envied Dead
Along long halls of envied dead
lights the likes of me instead
There lingered blood hasfermented
their souls have come and raised...
And went
And as they wait and watch
and carry me, like the loot
of starving thieves from stunted growth of shallow seed
Around they see the shape in
Abound by sun my closest kin
High above my father's grin
A blanket wisdom,, distilled sin
