Envious Wonder

Things I see are the things I write A simple urge, the urge I fight To become less fluent in temptation The never-do-wells elimination But the things a love I keep Even though more ,and more is what I seek I don't think wanting something is bad But when envy flows through, leave you broken and sad So what do I want from this life? Not exit of sadness, depression, or strife I have who and what I want, and that's all I need Not wrong to want, but to envy, be consumed by greed

I live, I look, I read, I smile, I laugh. It's funny how the simplicity of all of that can be confusing, but that's people for you.
