Environmental Change
Each spring nests are built, eggs have been layer, in nests which hay has been replaced. Yet eiders accept the change in environment. They show signs of gratitude, unlike other birds from different sites. The change in environment, is a careful, curious, ritual, which some wider don't accept, causing birds to head out, and numbers to dip.
