Environmental distress

Once a realm,

Turned into a cave.

Deep, dark and despair,

The only way to escape.

Once loved for its beauty.

Now loved for its profit.

Industrialized or criminalized,

both the same thing.

Taking from a source that has always had open doors,

depletion is what reality records.

Demand and Demand

At the fingertips of our hand.

Pollution, warming, destruction

Is what demand brings.

Profit over resourcement,

Only meant for enclosement.

Based on history,

we see what it once was.

Now we take scenic views

And can only shoulder shrug.

Compensation for our wrongdoings,

But not compensating for our desires.

Worried about new technology and attire,

while our natural resources transpire.

Enviormental distress,

Killing our ways of life,

Due to how we project.
