Short ties
Quick goodbyes
No one around
To catch me when I’m down
Lovers for a season
Lovers for a reason
Changing like the weather
I continue to reign down
These tears of confusion
I stand queen to your king
Dethroned by time
Was it all a lie
These feelings untrue
Meant to last a lifes time
Stay only for moments
Lost in my head
Multidimensional delusions
I thought would last forever
You are my ephemeral lover.
