Epilepsy is a Blessing

I am Hannah Grace

I do not conform

In order to fit in the norm

I am me

I am strong

And sometimes wrong

I am me

I lead the pack

And never hold back

I am me

I can overcome a seizure

At my own leisure

I am me

My head will start beating

And the world will be fleeting

I am me

I fall down

And will not hear a sound

 I am me

I will close my eyes

And see my demise

I am me

I will rock

And people will mock

I am me

I won’t talk

And people might gawk

I am me

The room will go blank

And I know it is not a prank

I am me

My body will be still

I no longer have free will

I am me

I will come too

but everything will be new

I am me

I continue to survive

I will always thrive

I am Hannah Grace
