Epilog

Proverbs 3:5-6 New English Translation (NET Bible)

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own understanding.
6 Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight.

Epilog

I laid my heart open to You … gently in Your hands,

for You to do what You wanted to … and at Your full command.

I felt Your anger and Your tears … as they pounded on my soul.

The tears were sweet and bitter … and still You left me whole.

The salt of Your devotion melted my hardness away.

When Your hands clung in emotion … to show the Light of Day.

You kept me to Yourself for a moment in space and time.

So forever You can be part of me … to be in one of Thine.
