Epiphany

Isn’t it fitting that the

word ugly reflects the personalities

of those who use it?

And isn’t it just terrible

that those who have been

labeled as such take it

to heart so easily, consenting

to the feeling of inferiority

without ever even questioning the validity

of such contemptuous, demoralizing words?

Why have we allowed ourselves

to become infatuated with the

idea of perfection- allowed it

to shape our thoughts and

control more aspects of our

day-to-day than we

would personally like to admit?

How can the masses be simultaneously

attempting to become something that

is ultimately useless in the end?

How do we go about

changing the entire concept of

perfection in the heads of

all humans in current existence?

It can begin only with

the sudden realization that

we had it all wrong,

For the truest earthly perfection

does not lie in a

face or a body, but

in the warmest of hearts,

the most selfless of minds,

and the purest of souls.
