The Epiphany of your Absence

By Gods grace alone i've been mended.

Now the pain comes with ease

like a poisonous toxin seeping underneath my skin

the affects    cataclysmic.

But atleast the habitual dreams have ceased.

I dont you need you anymore

I do miss your company   most ardently.

Now the memories come sweetly

no longer rendering my feeble heart strings

to phantasmal pieces.

But then with one thought of you, my senses enkindle

admonishing the gentleness of your smile

the -out of time- murrmurs of my heart when we walked alone

the steadiness of your brown eyes on mine

escalating

to a meridian of unrelenting sounds and images

materializing between my ears

and

for the moment all my lips can gracelessly conjure

is damn
