Epitaph of a hummingbird
She lived her life fragile, like a hummingbird. Floating aimlessly In the garden of life, pollinating flowers of each day. Every new bud seemed to burst with color and joy. With the harmony she made with every word spoken and every one she touched with the actions she lived. But it was all cut short, with the news that she was told, by the doctors and tests. After a fight that continued for months and trying to make each day colorful, like before. But after a struggle and losing her feathers. This human hummingbird could not spread her love to the world. She was kept in a bed, with flowers around her, until she reached the end of the garden. She closed her eyes for the last time. On her grave, after kind words were said about her, and this poem was read, hundreds of flowers and hummingbirds greeted her every day, for ages to come.
