Separate but equal.
Races are just that, only skin deep.
The abuse sinks in much farther.
Separate but equal.
Struggles of discrimination, violence, hate.
Over that one thing only skin deep.
Separate but equal.
Movements, marches, and the iconic dream.
These are the cornerstones.
This is the change.
Equal.
