Equal Love

Words and phrases aren't enough,
So this is how I show my love:
A gentle kiss each night by bed,
A strong shoulder to rest your head,
A kind heart, a listening ear,
Arms for warmth throughout the year.
You tell me just how you might feel,
I support you, help you heal.
I am not afraid to say
If I feel stressed or not okay.
I speak freely as you would,
We trust each other, as lovers should.
Our admiration goes both ways,
And I am here throughout all days,
Our souls are together, tried and true,
I'm here because I love you, too.
