Equality

I was born into this world,

A world of hatred and despair.

Where the slightest difference might cause bloodshed,

And peace was left to prayer.

I was too young to understand,

When my country was attacked from the air.

But America used her steel hand,

To bring revenge to an evil,

We thought was lost to the past.

The desert is still a battlefield,

The North still scares the South and the land of the Rising Sun.

The bear country is starting to revive itself,

As the most feared country earth ever knew.

If we end the fighting and bitterness,

People would become great friends.

We would recognize our differences,

As our strengths to unify our world.

Equality will lead to a stronger society,

A society that lasts far into the future.
