Equality
I am an angry because:
We are expected to be sexy and modest.
If we wear short skirts, we are asking for it.
If we’re diffident we’re prudes.
I am an angry because:
People think it is “okay” to catcall.
Men believe we must respond to them.
If we don’t, we’re considered “bitches”.
I am an angry because:
The first question asked.
In a rape case in court is.
“What was she wearing?”
I am an angry because:
In schools, teachers care about the way we dress.
More than our education.
It’s not our fault if the immature boys stare.
I am an angry because:
People assume it means we hate all men;
That we are lesbian.
Or that we are bitter and hideous.
I am an angry because:
We deserve to stand out.
And want equal rights for men AND women.
And for people to believe me when I say.
I am a woman, a feminist and I am capable of doing more than you think.
