Equality

Once upon a time,

in a land far away,
everyone was finally equal.
In here, it was different.
People were not judged,
not by the color of their skin,
not by who they loved,
not by how much money they had,
not by their gender.
No, everyone was the same.
There was no lust for power,
so there was no princess,
and of course no prince to save her.
There was no king,
no queen, no desire for the crown.
Only when people give up
the deadly longing for power,
is when a true fairy tale can happen.
Only then, can there be
a happily ever after.
