Equality.

In the past, it was nothing but disgust.

Separating colors like a disease had spread worldwide

Whites assumed wrong and blacks stayed shut.

We thought MLK cured it all.

As times passed we have gotten stronger,

We have gone to appreciate and stand up for one another

But this world is so vast that some people don’t change

The ignorants still call us by the slave name,

Deliberating that we are weak and unknown

Maybe in the future, we will be a whole,

But must we boycott to show them we are human?

Must we show them what we are capable of doing?

Why are we going back centuries ago?

Will it get better? We all ask.

Will it be cured? So we all question How.
