Equality for the Same

The way people view others

It's such a shame

If I were king for a day

That is what I would change

The color of skin pigment

Can create severe judgment

Arabians accused of terror

Blacks accused of crimes

All people are guilty of crime

No matter their shad

From white to black

But that isn't what's represented

Fictional television shows have more equality

But look at the news

You'll see innocents accused

Based on physical attributes

Never have an ear heard

A joke about men in the kitchen

But females endure these jokes

The fight for equality goes on

What's it going to take

To get full gender equality

Where neither is superior

Neither the butt of cruel jokes

The future I hope to see

Is equality for all

With none left behind

Because of who they are

Our hearts all beat the same

So what should gender have to say

Why should color matter

I can love who I want

At the end of the day

We should all be the same

Equals of each other

With no room for judgments
