They are no different from anyone else We are all the same, they are part of us Do they not work the same as everyone else whether it be their jobs, in life and relationships? Do they not hurt the same way as everyone else and have the ability to forgive? Do they not want the same love everyone searches for in life? I am Straight they are Gay I do not discriminate I do not hate I absolutely DO NOT LIKE THE IGNORANCE they face because they are the same as everyone else They are our brothers and sisters its time we treat them as such, it is time for all of us to achieve what we are granted as Americans, Equality

I wrote this poem because I have friends that are gay and they are some of the funnest people to be with, they are no different than the rest of us, they deal with the same problems and blessings, except they are targeted more and this needs to be changed this needs to be fixed, and it starts with a new generation of free thinkers that think for themselves and the betterment of others and not because they are told what to think because of a religious and political views.
