Era of Grey Feelings
Era of Grey Feelings
Mid october-- the groggy days
The rain pours down onto the rooftops
The endless pitter patters creates rippling illusions
The air holds heavy over the earth
The weight of life seems to flood the atmosphere
Looking up for signs of light, of hope
The sky is grey, there are none
Grey.
Not black, nor white
Life surrenders to the rain
The power is given to the falling droplets
The world is constrained to this force
Why is that so?
Why does joy die when the clouds cry out?
Why do the tears of nature feed our sadness?
This ends now.
Grey is good.
The rainbow will come, after the rain.
