Eros
Arrows lofting through the air
Flying high with love and care
Cupid, son of Venus, with radiant white wings
His golden bow with arrows to fling
Searches the earth seeking a match
For two lonely hearts, his arrows dispatch
Afar he takes a boy and a girl
From a distance he watches as love is unfurled
The deed is accomplished by arrows so small
To help them believe that love conquers all.
