The Errors in Human Irony

Location

We are inventions of a maddening scientist

The products of hypocritical dysfunction

Meticulously programmed and wired

To treat life with tender and care

As if it were some fragile glass figurine

But we were also taught

To live life as recklessly, as humanly possible

Because living as if you were dying

Seems so much more poetically just

Than living

Simply because you want to live.
