Escape

Dance, sing, spin, SCREAM. Do what you need. Get it all out. Keeping it all in never helps. Talk to someone. Someone cares for you. You're not alone. There are others who have been in your position. I want it to be openly posted, how many have worried about the same thing as you. You're not a freak, you're not an idiot, you're not ugly. Don't lock yourself in your room. Talk freely about it all. And breeeathe. Think about all the people who would care if you just up and left. As much as you try to deny that anyone would, there are more than you would think. How do you know you don't inspire someone? Maybe that girl in your 4th hour likes your writing and wishes she could be just like you? And then you're gone. In a flash, with no warning. I would care. Because you thought you weren't worth my time. Which hurts me, because I care about you. I know you want an escape. I'll be yours.

I'm a senior at Van Horn in Independence, MO. I have very strong beliefs on bullying, suicide prevention, respect for others, and being open/honest. My work's very jumbled sometimes but sometimes that's just how it comes out!
